Michael Jackson is Back: Danish Mall Reverses Removal

Denmark’s oldest shopping center has reversed its determination to not exhibit a statue Michael Jackson.

Jesper Andreasen, supervisor the Roedovre Centrum mall in suburban Copenhagen, says on Facebook it was “an overreaction” to take away the statue, including the late singer “has by no means been discovered responsible any the accusations towards him.”

The statue was taken out after about 15 on-line complaints, largely from households with youngsters, fearing it may fend prospects and could also be vandalized as a result of allegations that Jackson molested boys.

The mall is displaying wax statues main stars, together with Marilyn Monroe and Julia Roberts, on a central sq. to coincide with Danish faculties’ weeklong winter break that began Monday. The Jackson determine was again Wednesday (Feb. 13).
