Big Freedia Makes Her Voice Heard With Help From Icona Pop On ‘Louder’

The "Queen Bounce" Big Freedia dropped a catchy new dance track "Louder," in collaboration with Swedish duo Icona Pop, on Wednesday (Nov. 20).

The single, which Freedia says in a press release is about "feeling the power your own voice," merges a sample the classic Snap! song "The Power" with original empowering lyrics like, "I've been booking b—-es left and right and I've got s–t to say."

In the playful accompanying video, the hip-hop star dances through the aisles  a colorful fruit market, leads a choir under a VHS overlay, and has a food fight with her backup dancers.

Freedia most recently featured on Kesha's latest single "Raising Hell," which she will perform with the pop singer on stage at the American Music Awards on Nov. 24. In the past, she has collaborated with Beyoncé, Drake, Charli XCX, and Lizzo
