Tom Brady’s Four Game Suspension Overturned By Judge

Tom Brady will be leading the New England Patriots when they kick off the season next Thursday against the Steelers.

This morning, US district Judge Richard Berman nullified the NFL’s four game suspension of the Super Bowl champ for his connection to the deflation of footballs during the AFC playoffs.

The judge’s ruling was based on procedural details — not the facts of the case — which make it very unlikely that Roger Goodell and the league can mount a successful appeal of his decision.

Bombshell. Judge says Brady, “was foreclosed from exploring, among other things, whether the Pash/Wells investigation was truly independent”

It appears Judge Berman ruled on procedural issues on the NFL’s process and not on footballs. Will make it a tough appeal for NFL. — Tom Winter (@Tom_Winter) September 3, 2015

The Patriots celebrated the decision on Twitter:

Do you think the DeflateGate controversy will still be a mark on Brady’s Hall of Fame career?
